A Day of Learning, Pushing Comfort Zones, and Big Conversations

One of the biggest things I’ve been focusing on lately is pushing myself outside my comfort zone. Exploring new places, staying curious, and stepping into thought leadership in a way that feels right for me. That means working on public speaking, building connections, and being part of bigger conversations.
That’s why Lisbon Tech Connect was such a perfect fit. Hosted by Co.Next, it’s not your typical tech event. It brings together founders, investors, and innovators for conversations that actually matter. Instead of polished pitches, it focuses on real insights, shared experiences, and making meaningful connections.

I had the chance to give the keynote "Empathy Meets Innovation: The Heart of Modern Marketing in Tech." Marketing isn’t just about automation and data. It’s about people. It’s about building trust, understanding what truly resonates, and making connections that go beyond the surface. Seeing the audience engaged, nodding along, and coming up to chat afterward made all the prep completely worth it.
I also joined the panel "Gender Diversity: Beyond the Buzzword." We got into the realities of being a woman in tech and what still needs to change. These conversations aren’t always easy, but they are necessary. What really stood out was the audience’s openness. People asked thoughtful questions, shared their own experiences, and, most importantly, stepped up as allies. I walked away from that discussion feeling hopeful.

Beyond the stage, what made this event so special was the people. Lisbon has such a vibrant tech community, and I loved getting to meet local founders, entrepreneurs, and professionals who are building, experimenting, and pushing boundaries. There’s an energy in this city that’s hard to describe. It’s creative, ambitious, and incredibly welcoming. It was inspiring to be in a room full of people who genuinely care about shaping the future of tech.
A huge thank you to Vikа Zhurbas, Maryna Bozhenko, and the entire Tech Connect team for creating such a thoughtful and engaging event. And to my fellow speakers, thank you for the honesty, the insights, and the great discussions.
Lisbon, you did not disappoint. I can’t wait to be back.
